"We do not see what God sees in us and we are not what others see in us."

This concept is examined in this monologue.

A single figure is sitting on a box or crate Center Stage. He (or she) is holding a large mirror in his hands, resting on his knees. The mirror should be large enough to have a presence, yet small enough for the actor to walk around with. When seated the actor must be able to look over the top of the mirror and see the audience. If it is in an old fashioned beat up frame so much the better. At the beginning of the monologue the mirror is facing the actor.
As to costume, neutral is suggested. Too many characters are represented to choose a single costume. Alternately, you could make a costume that has bits and pieces of each character. It would look odd, but, if not comically created, could help tell the tale.
