Christmas at the Last Chance Diner

• Papaw Owner/manager/maître d/cashier. Harried, seemingly grouchy, but really all loving.
• Mamaw Head cook. Loving, but no nonsense
• Maggie Head Waitress. Oldest granddaughter. Know it all.
• Lizzie Waitress. Youngest granddaughter. Gentle, peacemaker. Various diners
• Gabe A lingering guest – has mainly one line – “More coffee?” Sits at Table 3, reading a book.
• Inspector Harrison Antagonist, wants to shut the diner down
• Table One Guests (Group One) 2, 3 people, they leave right away and are done.
• Table One Guests (Group Two) 2, 3 people- One speaks briefly.
• Table Two Guests (Group One) 2, 3 people – One speaks briefly.
• Marilyn Very Pregnant
• Johnathan Husband
• Flo Lamb Food groupie
• Bo Lamb Food groupie

Set Design: This takes place in a diner. Upstage is the counter with all the plates, etc. An opening for the cook to pass the food through. Stage Right is the door into the diner. The cashier stand is next. Stage Left is the door to the kitchen. Four tables are across the front of the platform for the diners.
