Everyone who is from Bethlehem is coming home to be counted and taxed. All the rooms are overflowing, creating more work and stress on the lives of the innkeepers. During this time was created to reflect the challenges and pressures we all face, reminding us of the importance of faith and familial bonds. Story Line:
An innkeeper and his family are living a hectic life. They have little time for each other, especially at this time. Caesar has decreed that all the world should be taxed. Everyone who is from Bethlehem is coming home to be counted and taxed. All the rooms are overflowing, creating more work and stress on the lives of the innkeepers. During this time Mary and Joseph come to Bethlehem and God is preparing a humble abode for them.
Setting:
The interior dining room of a simple country inn in Bethlehem. There are three exits from the room; The door to the outside, the door leading to the rooms and the door to the kitchen. There are several tables with people who come and go.
